WILLOUGHBY'S GLOSS CHINA PAINTS
China Paints are overglaze decorations
that are applied layer by layer on fired and glazed ware, most often
porcelain.
They are translucent, meaning that some of the underneath color
will show through. Building up layers of color adds density
as well
as deepens the color. Firings are made after each application.
China paints melt into the glaze, bonding with it.
China painting colors
are made from metallic and mineral oxides.

#99 Base for Raised Gold Information
Base for Raised Gold is fired the same as Enamels. ~ Should be mixed with Media for Raised Paste, or fat oil. ~ Can be mixed with other colors to get a lovely tint. ~ To string it, use turpentine to thin it. ~ It is best to fire Paste and Enamels as few times as possible, There is always the danger of it chipping in subsequent firings. ~ It will fire darker than you see it before it is fired. ~ It is great for painting Scrolls and designing jewelry. ~ Use Unfluxed Gold on it after it is fired.
